.22 Rim-Fire; Open-sight Rifle and sport handgun –Silhouettes #2 30^th March 2024

Saturday 30^th March was the 2^nd 22 Rim-Fire Open-sight Rifle and sport handgun combined with the air gun; scoped, open-sight and sport handgun, so it was a busy day for shooting in spite of it being the Easter weekend.

We had only 5 shooters compete in the open sight rifle but 7 shot in the sport handgun leg. We had a newcomer to the .22 sport handgun competition; namely, Johanne Seyffert. He enjoyed it so much he put up the willing score of 50%. The rest of us did not score very well at all.

It is becoming a habit these days that Sharon is winning the .22 open-sight rifle; at least my rifle came in 1^st place again. Johann’s wife joined us on the range, we thank God for her recovery from MS, she thoroughly enjoyed herself shooting with our ,22 rifles and now insists the Johann buy her one. We may see more of them on the range for this competition in future.
