This competition is normally shot on a Friday evening when it is dark enough. (It is normally well attended.)
Who can shoot it?
- You must be proficient with your handgun.
- You must have a holster or a gun bag.
- You must have a torch.
Night Shoot Structure
Normally short shoots at close distances and few shots. This is to familiarize yourself to shoot at night in realistic conditions.
Between 4 and 5 different scenarios. Some with parking lights, some with you holding a torch, some with limited light supplied and some in total darkness.
Afterwards: food in the clubhouse either American hotdog’s, Bring and Braai and in winter a soup evening.
The champion of the night will be awarded the Night Owl floating trophy and the shooter that did not fair to well will receive the Coffin floating trophy.
