1. Definitions of types of membership
a) Junior/Student Membership
A junior/student member is any person who is under the age of 21 or is under the age of 25 and still studying full time at a tertiary education institution.
b) Senior
A senior member is any person over the age of 21or older than 25 who is not a student still studying full time at a tertiary education institution.
c) Family
Family membership includes the main member and any direct family members (spouse or dependent child who is under the age of 21 or is under the age of 25 and still studying full time at a tertiary education institution or under 25 still living under the same roof as the main member and not earning an income).
d) Pensioner
A person qualifies as a pensioner if: –
a) They are over 65 years of age irrespective of source of income,
b) They are older than 60 (55) and their main source of income is a pension,
c) If their only source of income is a person irrespective of their age (e.g. a government pension).
e) Honorary
Honorary membership is allowed purely at the discretion of the committee based on written motivation based on their longevity at the club and their contribution to the club over that time.
Honorary members do not pay any club membership fees.
They are eligible to compete in the club champs, and their scores aggregated towards the year end championship.
Register to be kept.
f) Country
Country membership is allowed purely at the discretion of the committee based on written motivation, no criteria (criteria would include distance from the club, frequency of club visits due to proximity to the club).
Country members may shoot at the club and not pay day fees but must fill in the attendance register.
They are eligible to compete in the club champs, but their score will not be aggregated towards the year end championship.
