3 Gun shoot 9 March 2024
Tom was away so Dave Wilson and I ran the 3 Gun shoot. We were only 4 who participated, of which only 3 shot all three legs of the competition; unfortunately Sharon had turned her ankle over at home the morning, and by the time it came to the shotgun leg she was experiencing considerable discomfort and opted to sit that one out. So, Dave, Mark and I were the only shooter to table a full 3 gun score, although to look at the scores you may think we had only shot two legs, scores were very low.
There were plenty of our other friends who in times past would have shot the 3-gun but did not join us, but rather did their own thing. These included Jimmy Bekker, Dawie and Berdie Meintjies, Jacques Potgieter and Clive and Anso.
