Tom Diedericks & Allan Peeters
OK not a big turnout I think 10 shooters, we started at 12 as indicated.
The .22 event. A fairly easy shoot:
- 5 Piggies at 40m
- 5 Rams at 75m, nice big fat silhouettes
- Jakkalas target at 25m
- Oom Bobbejan target at 35m
- Pig target at 55m
- 5 shots on each
Here Oom Dave showed us how with a score of 105 Markus with a 98 and Jacques with 90.
Then off to the handgun range, 25 shots two targets Bianchi style shoot, enough time no rush, unless you have a jam. Here we had a tie for first Jacques and John R-Jones on 103 and Tom on 98. James had a bad day with his handgun, probably a loading problem. He was waiting for the jams to happen. Apart from that, the good shots were accurate.
Then off to the shotgun range, here it was the usual trap, two shots per clay scoring 5 ad 2 for the second shot. Some of us did not need a second shot, I was lucky scored my first 25 straight since starting to shoot again. Was lekker. So here was bionic arm on 25 straight Then Tom 107 and Jacques 85.
Allan got a badge for shooting this straight in an official competition. Well done Allan. Mark said Robocop is back… beware.
Mattie and James only shot two events.
All in all a fun day, weather was nice and sunny no wind.
Mattie gave us a bit of a scare, but needless to say, all worked out well, propped him up and gave him something to eat and drink. Not beer. Comes from not having the most important meal of the day, Breakfast, bacon, eggs, tomato, and toast.
