Allan Peeters
Our first 100 bird competition for the year. It started slow, by closing date we only had 5 entries. But PD and I decided to hell with it we are going to shoot it.

We finished up with 10 shooters, not too bad. But No visitors. Even after co ordinating our dates with the SA Jagters to avoid clashes, a bit disappointing.
It consisted of: 25 ATA TRAP, 25 SKEET, 25 SPORTING and 25 ENGLISH DOUBLES.

Trap was shot. There must be a voodoo there, the scores were terrible. Wil have to get Donald to get a Sangoma on the range to chase the evil spirit away. Highest score was a 21.
The English doubles was a gimmie range. Easy bird’s and it was enjoyed by everyone. Nice to break clays. We had 3 straights shot there. Bennie, Anthony, and Theo. Well shot guys. Our one machine gave us problems, but we pulled it very early. (More work…)

The skeet as usual was tricky the high tower was falling short. Either the wind or the machine has shifted. Will have to check that next week, highest score there was a 23 by Bennie.
The sporting range was a nice range, much easier than last week. Everyone enjoyed it, the highest score there was a 23 by Bennie.
All in all, I think it was a great shoot everyone there enjoyed it. We missed Karel of course with his range setting. Also, Sean who was down with Covid.

I had a great shoot with my new arm. Managed to shoot 100 targets. I normally only manage 50. So, I’m happy.

My first time ever shooting 100 clays. My gun stayed together and enjoyed shoot. A great bunch of people. I am loving the photos, well done PD.
Thanks Allan and PD for putting this up. As a silhouette shooter it was a great learning experience.
