Allan Peeters
The first one for the year, was held last Friday night.
All the ranges were set when shooters started arriving. We held a briefing in the clubhouse. As usual safety was paramount, we had 12 shooters. The shoot was along the lines of the previous ones I have set.

Night Shoot Structure:
- Bakkie: Start next to bakkie. When park lights come on engage 4 targets.
- Standards: The start signal was when the light comes on for 5 seconds. There were 3 exercises. The last one, start signal was when the light goes off.
- Light supplied stage: A dim light too shoot by. You has 6 targets and 15 seconds. You were allowed to move from box A towards targets.
- The torch stage: You faced backwards and the other shooters moved 5 targets around in a demarcated box. You then turned around the RO blocked your view with a target. You could then turn on your torch. Start signal was when RO removed the target. You had to shoot closest target first.
Practiscore gave us some problems in the beginning but thankfully Jacques could sort it out.

We had American hotdogs after the shoot and the prizegiving.
Result for the Night Shoot is shown below:

Winner of the Night Owl trophy was Jacques Potgieter!
Winner of the “Doodskus” trophy was Jennifer Henrico!
