Wolwehoek hosted the 1st Mini Mach for 2024 from 19 and 20 April 2024. We only had 23 entries who entered 107 events each consisting or 5 sighter shots and 20 shots to count, that means that a total of 2675 shots were fired over the 2 days. We had some competitors from Johannesburg and some from Pretoria, but most support came from Wolwehoek club members, thank you all.
The most popular event this time was for the small bore (.22) sport handgun event followed by .22 scoped light and silhouette, the to open sight .22 events, the air rifle was not so very popular this time round and only Johann Postma from Pretoria shot big bore and small-bore handgun aggregates: revolver, production, standing and unlimited.
We did not have to do a lot of work on the ranges to get them ready for the competition, this is because our new and improved grounds keeper Saul kept the ranges nice from the beginning of the year.
