So, Shotgun champs #2 was rained out twice. On 11 March was Shotgun champs #3. Despite only 1 shooter arriving for the Champs, the 3gun shooters arrived to save the day!
We ended up with 8 shooters for trap and 3 shooters for skeet.
Trap was a dismal affair with everyone battling to achieve a decent score. Even Allan didn’t perform at his usual high standard. John was flying on a straight after 2 rounds, but alas he lost concentration…. Tom was the winner on 17!
Tackling the heat and sun, Allan, Tom and Clive proceeded to the skeet range. Scores thankfully looked a bit better. Allan broke the 20 points mark for the day, with a score of 21!
Beers were enjoyed after a long hot day. Thanks to all who joined.
