On Saturday we had another great defensive shooting event. We build five (5) stages and shooters had the option to only use handgun or combine it with shotgun. Two (2) stages were designed so that competitors could shoot it with shotgun only if preferred, and the other three you could the combination of the two.
We are chuffed that shooters makes the effort to travel from all over Gauteng to compete at our Wolwehoek shoots. It is indicative of the fact that they know that with all shoots our motto of “Safety First” applies, the stages are challenging, and we keep the fun factor in the sport.
A big thank you to all who diligently assisted with setting up of stages and to take it down after the event. It makes it truly a club and team event.
A special shout out to Cobus Pienaar for his hard work with every shoot in running the administration – no one wants to do it! The reality is that without it we cannot host the sport!
