We can see the winter makes it more difficult for for members to come to the morning shoots! Early it was a bit chilly but by 09:00 when the shoot started is was very pleasant conditions. We had some great stages and the names of the stages is indicative of it:
- CLEANING UP THE STOREROOM: You are busy cleaning up your storeroom when you hear people entering your warehouse, defend yourself and your employee that was busy assisting you to clean up the storeroom.
- CROC ATTACK: You are fishing in a river when hungry crocodiles want to make a meal of you. Prevent them from eating you and rather make some nice leather bags.
- Extraction: You are engaged in a gunfight and have to rescue one of your wounded buddies.
- FISHING AGAIN: You are fishing in the Limpopo River when you are attacked by armed attackers. Defend yourself.
Below is the results of the Defensive Gun Club Shoot held on 18 June 2022:
A big shoutout to all the shooters who were there early to help with building the stages and put the equipment back into the containers after the shoot. The stages went smooth and safe and with so few shooters we finished early enough to enjoy a beverage at the clubhouse and a lekker boerewors roll.
